BAGGAGE GUIDELINES

At LumeJet, we strive to provide a seamless and luxurious private jet experience. To ensure a smooth journey, please review our baggage guidelines before your flight.

1. General Baggage Allowance

  • Each passenger is allowed to bring one standard carry-on and one checked bag.

  • The total baggage weight allowance varies by aircraft type but generally ranges from 30 to 50 lbs (13 to 23 kg) per passenger.

  • Additional baggage may be accommodated upon request, subject to aircraft capacity.

2. Carry-On Baggage

  • Must fit within the aircraft’s storage compartments.

  • Dimensions should not exceed 22 x 14 x 9 inches (56 x 36 x 23 cm).

  • Items such as small handbags, briefcases, and laptops are considered carry-on.

3. Checked Baggage

  • Checked baggage must be properly secured and labeled with passenger details.

  • Oversized or overweight items may require special handling and additional fees.

  • Hard-case suitcases are recommended to prevent damage during transport.

4. Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, the following items are not permitted:

  • Explosives, flammable liquids, and hazardous materials

  • Firearms and ammunition (unless approved in advance)

  • Illegal substances

  • Lithium-ion batteries over 160Wh (except medical devices)

  • Pressurized containers or aerosols exceeding airline limits

5. Special Baggage & Equipment

  • Golf Clubs, Skis, and Sports Equipment: Must be pre-approved due to space limitations.

  • Musical Instruments: Allowed if they fit within the storage space; larger instruments may require an extra seat.

  • Pets: Allowed on select flights; must be in an airline-approved carrier.

6. Luggage Restrictions on Empty Leg Flights

  • As empty leg flights operate on fixed aircraft, baggage capacity may be lower than standard private charters.

  • Passengers must confirm luggage requirements in advance to ensure all items can be accommodated.

7. Lost or Delayed Baggage

  • LumeJet is not responsible for lost or delayed baggage due to third-party handling or unforeseen circumstances.
